Live Well Collaborative

User-centered Design | Design Thinking | Design Research

January 2024—Present

The Live Well Collaborative (LWC) is a non-profit founded by the University of Cincinnati and Procter & Gamble. At Live Well, students of all disciplines and faculty team up with industry partners to create innovative solutions that help people live well at any age. Projects run each semester, following a hands-on design thinking process: frame, explore, and create, that turns user centered research into practical ideas. We work with sectors like healthcare and consumer goods to develop new ideas and prototypes in just under 16 weeks.

Projects

From my year with Live Well I have been on four projects total. Two of them with Council on Aging, two more with Cincinnati Children’s Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute, and one with Procter & Gamble. Each of these projects have emphasized designing for a specific audience.

Due to confidentiality, I am unable to share more details about these projects. I am happy to explain our process and outcomes in more detail during an interview! These projects have been pivotal in shaping my way of thinking about design, so I would love to talk to you about them.
