Clifton Heights Music Festival
The Clifton Heights Music Festival (CHMF) is back! Originally launched in 2009 by Rome Ntukogu of Far-i-Rome Creative, CHMF quickly became a beloved cornerstone event in Clifton Heights, celebrating the sights and sounds of the tri-state's diverse creative community. After a hiatus, a passionate group of University of Cincinnati students has joined forces with Rome and community stakeholders to reignite this cherished tradition.
My Role
As the Design and Marketing Team Lead, facilitated weekly calls, delegated team member tasks, presented updates in leadership meetings, and collaborated with other teams. Held team members accountable for their deliverables to ensure timely execution of design materials, such as posters, Instagram posts, and merch.
Team Benchmarking Activity Session
To kick off our first meeting and spark ideas for our social media page, I hosted a FigJam brainstorm session where the team explored inspiration and laid the groundwork for our post templates.

Logo, Color, and Typeface
The following are poster designs from the festival in 2009 until hiatus. The posters were helpful in informing our revival design language for the music festival while retaining it’s original vibe.

T-shirt & Poster Ideation
With each weekly meeting, the team critiqued design materials like the t-shirt and poster for the festival. We would then spend time discussing each version and benchmarking successful examples to aid our final design.

My Experience
From designing the logo and print materials to leading the design team and growing our Instagram to 600+ followers and 75K+ views, being part of the CHMF marketing team has been an exciting and fulfilling experience that I’m eager to continue in 2025.
